There are a lot of things I would like to do after high school. I really hope the band I'm in makes it big. If that doesn't happen I would like to become a DJ. I plan on becoming a DJ either way. If nothing else works out I would be fine with working a low-paying job and enjoying my life making music still.
The band has been doing good for a while now. We finished up recording a few months ago and are finally waiting for our cd's to come out. I'm really excited about it because they're supposed to be finished by the end of this month. After our cd's come out we're going to start playing shows. I've only played at one concert and I can't wait to do more. We recorded at Jupiter Studios in St. Louis and that took a lot longer than I thought. They said that we had potential though. We already have our first mix and I've shown it to a few of my friends. Everybody seems to like our music. I think we're going to do good though. I'm not expecting to get rich or anything, but I really hope it happens. I don't really know what I'd do with any of the money but it'd be nice to have. I could use some new clothes.
If the whole band thing doesn't work out then I'm still going to continue doing what I love. I've never gotten tired of making music yet. I like to make house music and techno music. I love any type of electronic dance music. I can spend hours a day just making it. Becoming a DJ would be hard, but I would be willing to work hard. I think it would be a fun job. I would get paid to do what I love and that's something everybody wants to do. I don't know how well all of it will work out though. I guess that's why I have to just keep doing what I like to do and see where it goes from there.
Even if all of that doesn't work out I can still get by with my life. I don't have to be rich or famous to be happy. I just like to make music. It started out as a hobby. It's gone farther than that now. I guess you could call it a passion. I just want to learn to play as many instruments in my life as possible and make music. It's basically another form of art so that's always a plus. I just want to be happy with my life, even if everything doesn't work out the way I planned.
